I am proud to announce that I will be participating in RED January 2020.
What is RED January?
RED January is a challenge set to help raise money for MIND UK and to promote the positive effective of exercise and mental health. It empowers people to start a new year in a positive way. A REDer can do any kind of activity such as swim, run or walk for 31 day. This challenge has raised nearly £1.7 million and we can help to raise more money and more awareness for this illness.
Why would I want to participate?
I was inspired to participate for RED January after doing the challenge in the first year, it was set up. Also, after seeing how exercise has helped me cope with my depression and anxiety. I would like to set 2020 off to an amazing and positive start.
What is involved in RED January?
RED January requires the participate to do any kind of exercise for 31 days. You can have a personal challenge such as run/walk 50 miles in the 31 days. The challenges starts on 1st January and ends on 31st January 2020.
What will I be challenging myself to do?
I will be challenging myself to stick to a 31 day workout schedule, which will include attending fitness classes, running and gym workouts. I will be updates a workout schedule soon.
